Our local news station KOLD 13 recently stopped by D2 Dispensaries to speak with our customers and co-owner Moe Asnani to discuss the potential rescheduling of cannabis federally, and how it would affect our customers and staff.

“For an industry that has over a half million employees nationwide, to be in this position where folks are not able to go and get mortgages because they work for a cannabis business, yeah, it has great lifestyle ramifications for people depending on who their bank is,” said Moe.

It would also be greatly beneficial to our customers. If cannabis is rescheduled to a lower tier, this likely opens up more ways for people to pay for their medicine so they won’t have to rely on workarounds and ATM fees. A win for everyone involved, if you ask us!

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that this will be a country wide victory for cannabis.
